Highly recommended by a family member to take care of my elder boy, a cat with a cleft palate that... seems to cause him drainage issues every few months. Was able to get an appointment easily and will be back with my other cat for yearly shots and a checkup soon.read more

The staff at Shenandoah Animal Hospital are absolutely wonderful. We moved from Shenandoah County... to Frederick County over 5 years ago, but we still take all of our animals here. It's very important to us to go to a place that we trust for the care of our fur babies. Several years ago we had an appointment with one of our dogs here and there was a huge snowstorm at the time. The lights kept going out. When the assistant asked Dr. Truban if they were gonna close for the day. His reply was I just can't in case someone has an emergency with ine of their animals we have to be here for them. Such a wonderful caring man.read more

I’ve only used this office once so far but I’m impressed. I was dealing with a sick cat and like... everyone else, I was having difficulty making an appointment due to everyone being booked up. I usually deal with 7 Bends, another well known vet in Shenandoah county but they simply were not willing to budge on making time to check out my pet in a timely manner. After explaining my pets symptoms to Shenandoah Animal Hospital, the staff stated that they would make time and squeeze me in between two existing appointments due to how serious my cats symptoms were.They were able to get me in, examine and perform blood tests, and prescribe the necessary meds to take care of my sick pet. They now have a customer for life with me and I am extremely appreciative of what they did for my pet and I. They are very friendly and professional, their prices are reasonable and I highly recommend them.read more
