Marley ( Male Border Collie) had TPLO Surgery today. Staff was excellent. Dr. Nicholson who... performed surgery was very professional and I hope all goes well💕 post op. The burden will be on us now.
Dr. Truban has been very involved with our hesitations and apprehensions. He just called at 9pm to check on Marley and review instructions again to make sure we understand. Taking your Doggie to Surgery is so much like a child and we do tend to get overwhelmed with all the data and information.... very nice to have a personal follow up!!read more

I absolutely love this veterinary hospital. Both of my dogs go here and everyone is so friendly. I... recently had an incident where my little 10lb dog ate mouse poison after hours and they have an emergency line and the vet called me right back and we were able to stop any harm being done. The staff at Shenandoah Animal Hospital are absolutely wonderful. We moved from Shenandoah County... to Frederick County over 5 years ago, but we still take all of our animals here. It's very important to us to go to a place that we trust for the care of our fur babies. Several years ago we had an appointment with one of our dogs here and there was a huge snowstorm at the time. The lights kept going out. When the assistant asked Dr. Truban if they were gonna close for the day. His reply was I just can't in case someone has an emergency with ine of their animals we have to be here for them. Such a wonderful caring man.read more

Best Vet's office around hands down! We have taken our pets there for 8 years now. We see Dr. Lee... Newman in the Strasburg office. But my parents have taken their animals to Dr. Truban for the past 20 some years. We've recently been 4 times over the past 3 weeks with our new puppy Finn. The whole office staff is very helpful and friendly. They always see us right away. And Dr. Lee Newman is the most caring Vet ever. She truly cares about our pets and takes her time and isn't rushed to get us out of there. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a Vet in the Shenandoah County area!read more
